CICOP has a mobile laboratory for on-site diagnostic testing of damaged or defective buildings, with the aim of drawing up restoration/consolidation/seismic retrofitting/maintenance projects. CICOP has carried out several important studies on monumental buildings located in various parts of the world, particularly in Greece, Spain, and Italy.
The “DΙΑγνωση” Mobile Laboratory has the necessary tools to investigate reinforced concrete, masonry, wood, and steel structures. For more complex research and laboratory testing, it uses official external laboratories belonging to organizations that collaborate with the CICOP Net confederation.
All documented expenses related to diagnostic tests are borne by the users of the Mobile Laboratory “DΙΑγνωση” (transport of instruments and technical travel, data processing, etc.).
