She taught for many years \u201cTechniques for building restoration\u201d and now teaches \u201cBuilding Process Management\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>She is also Scientific Director of the \u201cTechniques for building construction Laboratory\u201d (LaTPrE). She is member of the National Laboratory &#8220;Smart Cities &amp; Communities&#8221; of CINI (National Inter-University Consortium for Informatics).<\/p>\n<p>She is member of the Scientific Board of the publishing house \u201cMALCOR D\u2019Edizione\u201d (section \u201carchitecture and urban planning\u201d) and member of the Referee Committee of the journal \u201cScienze e Ricerche\u201d (Science and research).<\/p>\n<p>Her main research topics are: history of construction, building restoration and refurbishment, durability, building sustainability, natural building materials.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rosa Caponetto was born in Catania (Italy).
